Certificates may be issued for learning paths, events, and journeys according to your organization’s settings. This guide shows how to access, download, verify, and share your certification.

Prerequisites for obtaining a certification
Certificates can be issued automatically or manually, depending on the activity type and your organization’s configuration:
Learning paths: Issued automatically upon completion or manually depending, on your organization’s settings.
Events: Issued automatically upon attendance confirmation or manually, depending on your organization’s settings.
Journeys: Issued manually by your organization.
Note: Certificates are shown only once they are issued. The platform does not display that a certificate would be available upon completion.
Accessing your certification
There are multiple ways to access and view your certification once it has been issued:
A bell notification appears when your certificate is issued.
You will receive an email containing a link to your certification.
Open the respective activity page to view issued certificates:
- Learning path: on the learning path detail or classroom page
- Event: on the event detail page
- Journey: on the journey detail pageOpen certificates directly from the profile menu: Click your profile picture and select
Certificates.
Verification link
Certificates may include a verification link. External parties can use this link to validate the authenticity of your certificate on edyoucated.
Uploading and editing external certificates
You can upload external certificates from your profile’s Certificates tab. For step‑by‑step instructions, see Upload and manage external certificates on your profile.
Downloading your certification
Click on the certification you wish to download.
In the top right corner, click on
Download PDF.
For uploaded external certificates, use the More menu (three dots) on the certificate card and choose Download.
Sharing your certification
Click on the certification you wish to share.
In the top right corner, click on the LinkedIn or XING icon to share it with your network.
Tip: Sharing your certification can enhance your professional profile and demonstrate your achievements to others.
Note: External certificates you upload on your profile cannot be shared on LinkedIn or XING directly via the platform. Share icons appear only for certificates issued by edyoucated for learning paths, events, or journeys.
