Skill taxonomy dashboard

Use the skill taxonomy dashboard to review, filter, and download the raw skill taxonomy data from your organization.

Updated over a week ago

The skill taxonomy dashboard shows the raw data of the skill taxonomy that is available in your organization. This is particularly helpful if you want to download the data and, if needed, edit it locally on your computer.

Filtering the skill taxonomy data

The skill taxonomy dashboard provides four filters to filter the skill taxonomy data:

  • Type: Select whether Skills, Chapters, and/or Atoms should be displayed in the table.

  • Skill owner: Filter the table by the owner of the skill. This can be, for example, your organization (if the skill was created by you or another owner in your organization) or edyoucated (if you integrated edyoucated’s standard taxonomy in your organization).

  • Last updated by: Filter by which user from your organization last updated the skill.

  • Last updated at: Filter by when the skill was last edited.

Understanding the table columns

The taxonomy table contains the following columns:

  • ID: The ID of the taxonomy element.

  • PARENT_ID: For atoms and chapters, this shows the ID of the parent element (if the atom or chapter is connected to a chapter or a skill).

  • SKILL_OWNER: The owner of the skill.

  • LAST_UPDATED_BY: Who last updated the skill.

  • LAST_UPDATED_AT: When the skill was last updated.

  • TYPE: Indicates whether the taxonomy element is a skill, a chapter, or an atom.

  • ORDER_INDEX: This field is not filled for skills. For chapters and atoms, it indicates the order in which chapters are displayed within a skill, or atoms within a chapter.

  • TITLE_DE: The German title of the element.

  • DESCRIPTION_EN: The German description of the element.

  • KEYWORDS_DE: The German keywords used for the search function. If users search for specific keywords, the taxonomy element can be found if the keywords are listed here.

  • TITLE_EN: The English title.

  • DESCRIPTION_EN: The English description.

  • KEYWORDS_EN: The English keywords.

  • TITLE_FR: The French title.

  • DESCRIPTION_FR: The French description.

  • KEYWORDS_FR: The French keywords.

  • TITLE_NL: The Dutch title.

  • DESCRIPTION_NL: The Dutch description.

  • KEYWORDS_NL: The Dutch keywords.

  • TITLE_PL: The Polish title.

  • DESCRIPTION_PL: The Polish description.

  • KEYWORDS_PL: The Polish keywords.

Please note: If some languages are not maintained for a taxonomy element, the corresponding values in the table are empty.
