Use event proposals to gauge learner interest before scheduling events. Proposals contain core information but no dates or location details. When enough interest is collected, convert the proposal into an event.

Editing the general settings
In the General tab, use the Details section to edit:

Trainer (optional)
Description (add manually or Generate description with AI)
Categories (shared with events and learning paths; you can add existing or create new ones)
In the Event format section, click edit and choose Online, In‑person, or Hybrid, then click Save.
Managing access
Open the Access tab to control visibility. Provide access to the entire organization or restrict access to specific teams and/or specific users. Click Save.
Configuring price in settings
In the Settings tab under General settings, click Edit to enable Set a price per participant. Enter the price and optionally enable Display price on proposal page, so that learners can see the price of event proposals when browsing through the event library. Click Save.
Managing interest
In the Interest list tab, view learners who have shown interest. Use the search field to find users by name or email. The table contains the following columns:
User: Name and email (profile image shown if available)
Comment: Optional note added by the user
Shown interest on: Date/time the interest was recorded
Click Export list to download a CSV containing Name, Email, Interest shown at, and Interest shown comment for each interested user.
Publishing, archiving, and reopening
Publish: Make the proposal visible in the learners’ catalog for those learners that have been given access via the Access tab. Status changes to Published.
Archive: Move the proposal to Archived. Archived proposals do not appear in the events library for learners any longer. All settings and the interest list remain as they are, so they can be reopened easily.
Reopen (as draft): Change status back to Draft for further editing.
Unpublish: Change status back to Draft for further editing without archiving it first.
Using the actions menu
Open the three‑dots menu on the proposal detail page to:
Copy learner's link (share the proposal with learners manually, e.g. via email or internal messenger)
Duplicate the event proposal
Unpublish the event proposal
Delete the event proposal (confirmation required)
You can also duplicate or delete a proposal directly from the overview list by hovering a row and using the corresponding icons.
Creating an event from a proposal
Open Events → Proposals and click a proposal.
Click + Event in the top right.
In Create event from proposal, confirm the Title, set From/To dates and Starts at/Ends at, and optionally enable Archive proposal after new event is created. Click Create.
Result: An event is created in Draft status. Open the event to edit details and Schedule it when ready.
Tip: Given an event is created from a proposal, then the event reuses all relevant proposal data where applicable (title, description, cover image, language, format, trainer, categories, price settings, access settings).
Important: Creating an event from a proposal does not automatically add interested users to the event. Add them manually in the Sign-ups tab or share the event link with interested users.
