Viewing and managing compliance assignments

Track compliance assignments with statuses, filters, due dates, and policy context

The Assignment list in the Compliance Center helps owners monitor Compliance assignments across the organization. Use it to review assignment statuses, find specific learners or policies, check due dates, and understand which Compliance policy requirement each assignment belongs to.

Who can use this feature?

  • Available for users with role Owner when Compliance Center is enabled. Learn more about roles and permissions here.

  • Available on Desktop

Opening the assignment list

  1. Open the Compliance Center.

  2. Go to Assignments.

The list shows compliance assignments with their current status, learner, availability, due date, completion information, requirement, policy, and scheduling context.

Understanding status widgets

Status widgets give you a quick overview of assignments by status. They help you assess how many assignments are currently in each stage and where follow-up may be needed.

The assignment list can include the following statuses:

  • Scheduled: the assignment is planned and not yet available to the learner.

  • Active: the assignment is available to the learner.

  • Overdue: the assignment is past its due date.

  • Completed: the learner completed the assignment.

  • Missed: the assignment was not completed within the expected assignment window.

  • Canceled: the assignment is no longer due for the learner.

Note: Assignment statuses and due dates shown here can be used in learner notifications and policy-owner email summaries. See Compliance notifications and emails for the full notification matrix and settings.

Searching assignments

Use Search assignments to quickly narrow down the assignment list. This is useful when you want to find a specific learner, policy, or assignment context without manually scanning the full table.

  1. Click into Search assignments.

  2. Enter your search term.

  3. Review the updated assignment list.

Filtering the assignment list

Use Filter list to focus the assignment table on specific assignment groups. Available filters include:

  • Status

  • Learner

  • Policy

  1. Click Filter list.

  2. Select the statuses, learners, or policies you want to review.

  3. Apply the filter to update the assignment table.

You can use search and filters together to refine the list further.
