Completing compliance assignments

Find compliance assignments on Home or your profile and open the required learning path

Compliance assignments are requirements assigned to you through your organization’s Compliance Center. This guide explains where to find your assigned requirements, how to understand the assignment information, and how to open the required learning path.

Who can use this feature?

  • Available for learners with compliance assignments in organizations where Compliance Center is enabled.

  • Available on Desktop and Mobile

Understanding compliance assignments

A compliance assignment asks you to complete a specific learning path as part of a compliance policy. Assignment cards can show context such as the related Policy, due-date information, and the current assignment state.

Compliance assignments are shown separately from other learning recommendations. Depending on the features enabled by your organization, you can find them on Home / Your Agenda and in the Assignments section in the General tab of your user profile.

You may also receive compliance emails or bell notifications that let you open the requirement directly from the Open requirement button in the email or from the notification; cancellation can also appear as a notification that the requirement is no longer due. For details on when these notifications are sent, see Compliance notifications and emails.

Finding compliance assignments on Home

  1. Go to Home.

  2. Open or review Your Agenda.

  3. Look for compliance assignment cards. These cards show the required learning path together with relevant policy and due-date context.

  4. Select the assignment card to open the related learning path.

Depending on the due date, assignment cards can include labels such as Due, Due soon, or Overdue. Close due dates may be shown with relative wording such as hours or days remaining.

Finding compliance assignments on your profile

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the platform.

  2. Select Your profile.

  3. In the general profile area, find the Assignments section.

  4. Review your upcoming compliance assignments. If there are no current upcoming items, you may see No upcoming assignments.

  5. Use View completed assignments or Hide completed assignments if you want to show or hide completed items.

  6. Select an assignment card to open the related learning path.

Opening the required learning path

Compliance assignment cards open the learning path that is required for the assignment. Complete the learning path as you normally would. When the required learning path is completed, the assignment can be shown as Completed.

Note: In some compliance workflows, opening the required learning path from a compliance assignment can restart the learning path progress where applicable. This helps ensure the requirement is completed for the current assignment context.

Understanding assignment information

Your assignment cards help you understand what you need to complete and by when. You may see:

  • Policy context: the compliance policy the requirement belongs to.

  • Due date: the date or relative time by which the requirement should be completed.

  • Active: the assignment is available for you to work on.

  • Overdue: the assignment is past its due date.

  • Completed: the required learning path has been completed for the assignment.

If you cannot find an assignment

If you expected to see a compliance assignment but cannot find it, check both Home / Your Agenda and the Assignments section on your profile. The assignment may also be completed, no longer due, or not currently assigned to you.

If you still think an assignment is missing, contact the person responsible for compliance learning in your organization.
