Creating and managing Learning Journeys

The learning journey feature gives you the opportunity to create learning paths, events and materials in a coherent flow. In this way, you can combine self-learning phases with events and additional materials and specify a logical sequence in the processing of learning paths and materials.

1. Creating a learning journey

According to your settings, the option (1) Learning Journeys has been added to the left selection menu. Here you can see all the learning journeys that have been created and their current status. Click (2) + Learning Journey to create a new journey.

Enter the name and language of the learning journey and select a start and end date.

2. Managing a learning journey

You will then be taken to the overview page of the learning journey. Here you can edit all relevant details such as (1) general settings, (2) access, (3) participants and (4) additional settings.

You can edit general settings and content of the learning journey under (1) General. Here you can see all (2) details about the selected learning journey, add a (3) host, a (4) description and a (5) cover image, manage the (6) schedule of the learning journey and (7) edit content.

To manage the content of the learning journey, click on “Edit” to access the learning journey editor. Here you can add learning paths, events and materials and arrange them in your desired order. Then click “Save” to save your changes.

Please note that you can only add existing learning paths, events and materials in the learning journey editor. These must be created separately in the respective menu area beforehand.

Under (2) Access you can manage who can access the learning journey. Share it with individual users or teams in your organization or copy the link below to invite participants directly to your learning journey.

Please note that learning paths and events are automatically shared with all participants in the learning journey. Access is granted to all users who are registered.

Under the tab (3) participants you can view and manage the participants of your learning journey.

Under (4) Settings you can manage further settings such as the maximum number of participants.

3. Scheduling a learning journey

To schedule a learning journey for all participants, click on (1) Schedule journey. This makes the learning journey and its contents visible to all approved employees under the “Learning Journey” menu item. Participants added by you will also receive a notification via email.

4. Cancelling a learning journey

To cancel a scheduled learning journey, click (1) Cancel journey. Then select the reason for the cancellation. This will be communicated to participants via email and on the platform.

You can then delete the learning journey from the overview.
