Welcome to the edyoucated Home! To help you navigate quickly, we've prepared a detailed guide.

1. Structure of the Home

The Home is divided into four main areas, each serving different functions:

  • Through the top menu bar, you can search for content and manage settings for your profile and your organization.

  • On the left selection, you can navigate directly to various areas of the platform.

  • In the center of the Home, you see two overviews:

    • The left (side) column focuses mainly on information that does not change daily, allowing you to see your progress as a learner over time.

    • The right (main) column focuses on content that frequently changes. It helps you decide what your next action is going to be and provides an overview of new and interesting content relevant to you personally on the platform.

2. The top menu bar

In the top menu bar, you see (1) the Home icon, which always redirects you back to the Home. Next to it is (2) the search bar, through which you can navigate the learning content of the platform. In the (3) icon overview next to it, you see your current point score and can navigate to events, reminders, and the help center. Next to it, you have the option to access your Slack or Microsoft Teams community and edit personal settings. A detailed explanation of how to use the platform can be found in this article.

Additionally: Administrators can access the administrative settings from the top menu bar.

3. Quick navigation in the left menu

The left menu bar allows for navigation to different areas of the edyoucated platform. Through this selection menu, you get to the (1) Home, (2) Learning Path Overview, (3) Skill Taxonomy of your organization, upcoming (4) Events, and current (5) Learning Journeys.

โ€‹Additionally: Administrators can also manage (6) Skill Management, (7) Learning Paths, (8) Content Management, as well as (9) Mandatory Training, (10) Events, and (11) Learning Journeys. For a detailed explanation of the individual sections, click on the respective areas.

4. The Home

The Home is divided into two areas: In the left (side) column, you mainly see information about your progress as a learner over time, in the right (main) column, you see content that frequently changes. This gives you an overview of next steps in your ongoing learning projects and shows new and interesting content relevant to you personally on the platform at a glance.

The left (side) column contains the following blocks:

  • (1) Your user profile, displaying your skills and learning points.

  • (2) Your assigned skill profiles (displayed only if the organization has activated the "Skill Profiles" function and the user has been assigned at least one skill profile)

  • (3) Your learning goal (displayed only if the organization has activated the "Learning Goal" function)

  • (4) The ranking list of your organization (displayed only if the organization has activated ranking functions)

The right (main) column contains the following blocks:

  • (1) The section Your Agenda includes all learning activities that the user needs to be reminded of or needs to address directly due to time constraints. The main purpose of this block is to show the user all the learning tasks they need to tackle before proceeding with another learning activity the platform has to offer.

  • (2) Your Learning Journeys displays all active and upcoming learning journeys. (This section is only displayed if the user participates in at least one learning journey that is currently running or starts in the future)

  • (3) Continue Learning recommends learning paths you have previously started and lets you jump right back in to where you've stopped. (This section is displayed if the user has at least one active learning path)

  • (4) Next, you can see all mandatory trainings that are currently ongoing.

  • (5) Discover Events shows recommended events from your organisation you are not yet signed up for. (This section is displayed if there is at least one upcoming event that the user has not yet signed up for)

  • (6) Recommendations for an assigned skill profile are displayed if you have been assigned a new skill profile.

  • (7) Lastly, you can see topic-based content recommendations from your organisation.
