To add skills to the profile, click Edit
in Skills section in the General tab of the skill profile details page. This opens the powerful skill profile builder, which consists of three columns:
Left column: Displays the organization's skill taxonomy.
Middle column: Shows the selected skills and chapters for the profile.
Right column: Provides statistics and context information for selected skills. For example, you can see how many materials and learning paths teach the concepts of the selected skill.
To add or edit skills in a skill profile, follow these steps in the skill profile builder:
In the left column, browse the skill taxonomy. Click on a skill to add its chapters to the profile, which will appear in the middle column. Alternatively, you can also expand the skills in the left column and click on a single chapter to add just the specific chapter.
For each chapter added to the profile:
In the middle column, click on the chapter. Choose a target proficiency level from Aware, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert.
Optional: Designate chapters as priority skills to highlight them for learners.
Tip: Browsing large skill taxonomies can be difficult. In order to quickly identify the right skills, you may use the AI-based quick filter called Recommended skills
