  1. Select Team management in the main navigation on the left side. This option is visible only if you are a manager of at least one team.

  2. In the Team members section, you can see all members of the teams you manage. Click on the user’s name or profile picture to open their profile.

  3. Select the Skill profiles tab to view all skill profiles assigned to the user.

  4. Click on a skill profile to open a detailed view showing the self- and manager-rating for the skill profile.

Understanding the skill profile rating view for managers

The skill profile rating view for managers mainly consists of two columns:

  • Left column (self-rating): Displays the skills and chapters of the skill profile in a skill tree format, showing the employee's self-assessment on a scale from 1 to 5.

  • Right column (manager rating): Allows the manager to provide their assessment of the employee's skill level, also on the same scale from 1 to 5.

Both columns display a match score, indicating the percentage of skill requirements the user has fulfilled according to each rating. Learn more about the score here.

Performing manager ratings

In the right column, expand the skills and rate each chapter on a scale from 1 to 5 based on your assessment of the employee's skills:

  1. Aware: I have heard of this skill before and know what it means.

  2. Beginner: I have started to learn about this skill and have gained some knowledge already.

  3. Intermediate: I have a solid knowledge base regarding this skill.

  4. Advanced: I feel confident about this skill, and have mastered even advanced aspects of it.

  5. Expert: I have very high expertise in this skill, it’s hard to tell me something new about it.

Benefits of rating skill profiles

Rating skill profiles offers valuable insights for both users and managers:

  • Facilitates meaningful discussions on employee development during annual reviews.

  • Helps identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans to achieve future goals.

  • Supports career growth by aligning individual skills with organizational needs.
